Due to the volume of calls and emails I wanted to post a list of FAQ regarding your Groupon purchase here. If you do not find the answer you are looking for here, please email lemonberrymoon@gmail.com. Excellent customer service and satisfaction is my number one goal and I am fully prepared to answer any other questions you might have.
The form at the bottom of this page is the fastest and most efficient way to book your session.
What does my Groupon include?
Well that depends on which one you purchased, there were two options:
$49 for a one hour session for one or two people
Includes:
One hour on location session for one person.
*May not be used for a newborn session.
*Travel fee may apply for locations more than ten miles outside of my Tigard location. I have a variety of gorgeous locations for any session within my area that will be discussed upon booking.
An online gallery of images available within two weeks after your session.
*Your online gallery will be available for one week. There is a $50 fee to re-open a gallery so please be sure to write down your order before your gallery closes.
Ten online sharing files emailed to you. You choose which ten images from your session you would like in your online sharing files.
*File size for online sharing and computer viewing only, not suitable for printing.
*Files are emailed and not provided on a disc.

*All prints must be of the same image and must be one of the ten images in your online sharing album.
$99 for a one hour session for up to four people
Includes:

Can I buy more than one Groupon?
You can buy one for yourself and two as gifts. A photography session is a wonderful gift that will last a lifetime. Think about that busy Mom you know that is never in the pictures and is always too busy to even think about finding a photographer (oh wait, is that me?!) I bet she’d LOVE this Groupon as a gift. She’ll probably make you cookies. And they’ll probably be awesome. Start thinking about Mother’s Day!
Is this deal just for new clients or can anyone purchase it?
Anyone may purchase and use the Groupon special, previous and new clients!
How long is my session?
Your session is up to one hour. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early so you don’t cut into your session time. If you are more than 15 minutes late and I have not heard from you I reserve the right to move onto my next session. You will be charged a $50 re-booking fee to reschedule without 24-hour prior notice.
How many people can be included in my session?
For the $49 Groupon, up to two people are allowed. For the $99 Groupon, up to four people are allowed. Each additional person will require a $25 fee due at time of booking.
Can I use my Groupon for more than one session if I do not have the full number of people?
No. Your Groupon is good for one session only, up to the number of people specified.
Can I bring extra people to be included in my session?
Absolutely! Each extra person will be an additional $25, to be paid upon booking.
Can my pet be included in my photo session?
Yes, they are family after all! One pet may be included for no additional fee. Each additional pet requires a fee of $25 per pet, due at time of booking.

Does everyone have to be members of the same family?
No. I welcome BFF sessions like my paint splatter session shown in my teens and senior portraits gallery here.
What does “on location” mean?
I shoot on location using mostly natural light. This means I hold my sessions at local outdoor areas such as parks and unique urban areas, buildings or structures. I can even come to your home! (travel fee may apply)
Where will my session take place?
Depending on the type of session you are looking for, I will offer you a list of local Tigard locations to choose from. I will travel outside the Tigard area (within reason) for a travel fee, please email lemonberrymoon@gmail.com for details.
Do you have a studio?
No. I am strictly an on location photographer.
Can my session be held at my home?
Usually. I use mostly natural light so there are a few considerations to take into account. You need a good amount of natural light and open space (outdoors strongly preferred.) Travel fees may apply.
Can we travel to more than one location for my session?
While the one hour session does not allow enough time to shoot more than one location, there are always multiple backdrops at each of our locations. Additional time/locations can be added for an additional charge.
Can we change outfits?
As many as you’d like as your time allows! Generally, I would not recommend more than two outfits for a one hour session as changing will also take time from your session. However, layers are a great way to change the look of your images without taking all the time to completely change your outfit. Think accessories!
How far in advance should I book my session?
Typically I ask clients to book 3-6 weeks before their preferred session date.
Due to the volume of bookings from Groupon (Thanks guys!) I may be booking even farther out than 3-6 weeks so be sure to book your session ASAP to get the date you want!
I shoot seven days/week. Weekends fill up FAST, but weekdays are usually pretty available.
Will I be treated as a “Groupon customer”?
I am not offering half my effort for half the price, that isn’t a deal! I am offering my 110% effort to satisfy all my clients for half the price, now THAT’S a deal! You will be treated like the fantastic individual that you are! All of my clients are offered the same stellar customer service I pride myself on, coupon or not. I took extra care to make sure all the values listed in your Groupon are true values based on my normal pricing structure. I didn’t get all fancy with words and the fine print to trick you into thinking you were getting a good deal, I gave you a good deal and I am so happy you decided to give me a try! The fine print is there, but it’s the same as it’s always been for my sessions. I can’t wait to show you what I can do!
When does my Groupon expire?
Your Groupon expires six months from the date of the deal, but as long as you book before it expires your session can take place after that.
I do not accept expired Groupons. However, as long as you book your date before the expiration you’re good! So book a date anytime during the next 12 months, but call and get the date on the calender before your Groupon expires.
*I book up to 12 months in advance.
* Per Federal regulations; After your Groupon’s expiration date I will accept it for the amount you paid for the Groupon ($49 or $99) and not the deal value.
How do I book my session?
Please first read all the way through our Groupon FAQ section (you’ve made it this far, you can do it!), this will alleviate the need for many games of phone/email tag! Then simply fill out the form at the bottom of this page and I will respond promptly with my availability based on the information you have given.
What if my children are monsters?
Uh….. I’m booked solid. Just kidding
I am a Mom too and understand that kids have their good and bad days, just like we do. I have more than a few tricks, games and bribes up my sleeves to get some smiles and cooperation. However, it would help me out a ton if you try what you know works for your child to keep them on their best behavior (for my boys it’s bribery all the way!) And sometimes it’s funny to go back and see the grumpy face and remember little Johnny refused to smile that entire session, his future girlfriend will find it adorable.

When will my pictures be ready to view?
Within two weeks after your session.
How many final images will I see?
Your gallery will contain between 20-40 fully edited images
You were hitting that shutter button way more than 30 times, why do I only have 20-40 images in my gallery?
I choose the very best images from your session to process and share with you. Only images that meet my exacting quality standards make the final cut. Rest assured that I will show you the very best from your session!
Will I see color and black and white versions of all my images?
No, not necessarily. I use my artistic judgment about which photos look best in color and black and white. If, upon viewing your final images, you would prefer one be changed to black and white just ask. I will convert up to five for no additional charge.
How will I view my final images?
I will have a password protected, online gallery of 20-40 images from your session available within two weeks of your session. Your gallery will be available for one week.
How will I choose the ten pictures for my online sharing album and prints?
Each image in your gallery will have a corresponding image number (1 of 30, etc.) You will email lemonberrymoon@gmail.com with a list of the images you have chosen for your online sharing album and which one of those images you would like for your prints. You will also list any additional order requests at the same time (Don’t forget Grandma and Grandpa!)
Can I print the images in my online sharing album?
No. The images in your online sharing album are low resolution and not suitable for printing (they’d look really icky!) It is against federal copyright law for you to print these images. You can however, share these with friends and family via email or your favorite social networking site. To upgrade to full resolution files with printing rights see next question.
I would rather have the disc of full resolution images with printing rights, can I upgrade?
Absolutely! If you would like to upgrade from the online sharing files (file size not suitable for printing and does not include printing rights) and instead purchase the disc of full resolution images with printing rights you can put the $100 value towards your purchase of the disc or your print order of $200 or more. Your three options are explained below.
1. Upgrade to the disc of ten full resolution images of your choice with printing rights. – You pay an additional $100
2. Upgrade to the disc of all full resolution images from your session (number varies, around 20-40 images) with printing rights. – You pay an additional $200
3. Upgrade to a discount of $100 on your print purchase of $200 or more.
*Upgrading with one of the above packages implies you will no longer be getting the online sharing files, but instead paying the difference and receiving a higher package.

Can I get the unedited versions of my images?
No. I do not release the unedited versions of any of my sessions.
Do I get prints with my Groupon?
One 8×10 and two 5×7 prints of the same image (must be one of the images chosen for your online sharing album) are included with your Groupon. My prints come from a professional lab on top quality metallic (GORGEOUS!) paper.
Can I substitute my two 5x7s for another 8×10 or get different images on each print?
No. You will get the exact prints described in your Groupon; one 8×10 and two 5x7s of the same image (must be one of the images in your online sharing album.)
Can I order more prints?
It would be silly to say no wouldn’t it?! You can view my print prices and other available products here.
Am I required to purchase anything or is there a minimum order if I do?
Nope!
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, check and Paypal (you can use your credit or debit card through Paypal and do not need a Paypal account.)
How long will it take to receive my prints and digital files?
I place my print orders twice a month, on the 15th and 30th (or nearest business day.) For most prints you can expect to see them in your mailbox within two weeks from that date (albums and wall art may take longer.) If you are ordering just what is included in your Groupon your order will be placed on the ordering day following your email to Lemonberry Moon detailing your chosen images. If you are ordering additional prints or products your order will be placed the ordering day following your cleared payment.
Do I have to pick up or pay shipping for my prints?
Nope! Free shipping to your local (Portland, OR and surrounding) address, because you deserve it. So stay in your pajamas and stalk the mailman.
Do I get the copyright for my images?
Lemonberry Moon holds the copyright for all of my images. If you purchase the full resolution disc with printing rights you will have the right to print for personal use, but not for commercial use. If you would like to use your images for commercial purposes please contact lemonberrymoon@gmail.com
What happens if I can’t make my session?
Life happens, I know! But please be courteous and let me know so I can offer your spot to someone on my waiting list. I require a 24-hour cancellation/rescheduling notice. If I do not receive 24-hour notice there will be a $50 fee upon re-booking your session. Refunds will not be given and Groupon is forfeited.
What happens if I’m late to my session?

What if it rains?

Let’s face it, we live in Portland and it rains here…. a lot. I use my best judgement and may reschedule. I will do my best to give 24-hours notice if I cancel due to weather. I like to wait as long as I can before cancelling because the weather is ever changing. Typically, a 60% or less chance of rain is still okay to shoot in. I may change the location to one that offers cover when needed. Over a 60% chance of rain or extremely windy conditions or dark skies will lead me to reschedule. Or you could always book a mud session because they are super fun!
*Most people think the bright sunny days are the best days for a session, but really it is the overcast (white, not gray clouds) weather that offers the most even and soft lighting!

You were booked out for three months when I scheduled my session, how long will I have to wait if you reschedule due to bad weather?
When I book my calendar I take into consideration the need for room to reschedule due to weather. I will reschedule your shoot ASAP, usually the following week. However, these spots are only left open for cases like this. Should you cancel or want to reschedule for other reasons I may not be able to get you in right away.
What will my session be like?
All of my sessions are different. I pride myself in being able to offer creative sessions personalized to each client. I can do a variety of sessions, from the traditional posed portrait like this to something a little different like this or this. I will ask you questions about the type of session you are looking for upon booking.
